Today I am sad to say it’s time to leave the Gower. I have some wonderful beach walks, beautiful weather, and met some nice people.I camped for the first time at Nicholaston Farm Site which was a wonderful family run camp site with good amenities and very helpful staff.

I share my path with the SUSTRANS long distance cycling route No. 4 which goes between London and Fishguard. I had met up with this route several times since being in Wales and will meet up with it many times more before I get to Fishguard.On the outskirts of Llanelli I see another steelworks with the TATA name on it.

There have sprung up lots of new apartments along the coastline around the docksI follow the Millenium Coastal Path out of Llanelli with views across the water to the Gower peninsular. The last stretch is through parkland and a Nature Reserve into Burry Port.
