Day 009 : Port Isaac – Boscastle

What a difference a day makes. Port Isaac looked a lot different this morning with a hint of sunshine. Was the Doc at home? With a chain link fence across the front of the house, I guess there’s no surgery today.

Day 008 : Polzeath – Port Isaac

A shorter walk today. One because it was raining and second I had to make this walk circular to get back to my car as it was Sunday and there was no buses.

008_0064From Polzeath I follow the coastal path past all the guest houses and B & B’s to New Polzeath with its sandy beach. As it was raining and windy I didn’t linger long. I was straight up onto the headland towards Pentire Point. I could look across the estuary and see where I walked yesterday. Continue reading

Day 007 : Constantine Bay – Polzeath

Quiet sandy bays where the surfers like to play. Although it was a cold start to the day, the view and the walk across the sand cheered me up.

007_0028Booby’s Bay joins up with Constantine Bay where at low tide you can see the remains of a shipwreck. When you first see it you  think they are groynes but on second glance it looks like a giant ribcage opened up. Continue reading
