From one city with a deep heritage to another, the capital city of Wales.
I walk out of the city centre of Newport where there seems to have been, and still is, a lot of regeneration going on.

Day 025 : Caldicot – Newport
From the muddy banks of the Severn Estuary to a city with a long industrial heritage.
I make my way down towards the sea wall for a day of relatively easy walking along the flat grassy sea wall.
Day 024 : Severn Beach – Caldicot
Two bridges, one estuary and two countries cloak themselves in mist today. I cannot even see the other side of the estuary.
I walk along the sea wall towards the second Severn Bridge that carries the M4 across the Bristol Channel.
